Our Philosophy
My Philosophy

I believe your home should be one of the greatest sources of joy and comfort in your life. Not just a place where you sleep and store your things — but a space that truly nurtures you, reflects who you are, and supports the life you want to live.
My approach to design is rooted in that belief. Every decision I make — from the colors on your walls to the way furniture is arranged — is guided by how it will make you feel. I take the time to understand your rhythms, your needs, and your vision, then bring it to life in a way that's thoughtful, personal, and completely your own. And wherever possible, I love finding sustainable ways to get there — through repurposed pieces, thrifted treasures, and creative solutions that honor both your home and the planet.
The Science Behind Wellness Design
It might surprise you to learn that our homes have a measurable impact on our health and happiness. Research shows that the spaces we live in affect everything from our sleep quality and stress levels to our mood, focus, and overall sense of wellbeing.
A few of the key principles behind wellness design include:
· Natural light — Exposure to natural light regulates our sleep cycles, boosts mood, and increases energy levels throughout the day
· Color — The colors surrounding us have a direct influence on how we feel, from calming blues and greens to energizing warm tones
· Flow & function — A space that flows well and works the way you live reduces daily friction and creates a sense of calm
· Air quality & natural materials — Choosing natural, low-toxin materials and keeping spaces clutter-free supports cleaner air and a clearer mind
· Connection to nature & biophilic design — Incorporating natural elements like plants, wood, and stone — a practice known as biophilic design — has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and increase feelings of comfort and wellbeing
Wellness design isn't about following trends — it's about applying these principles in a way that's personal, practical, and meaningful to you.

My Background

I've been helping homeowners create spaces they love since 2010 — and every project since has deepened my passion for what thoughtful design can do for people's lives.
Over the years I've had the privilege of working with clients on everything from single room refreshes to full home transformations, always with the same goal in mind — to create a space that feels completely and uniquely theirs.
I'm also proud to be an active leader in the design community. As a founder of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) Minneapolis Area Chapter, I served as the chapter's first President from 2016 to 2018, and returned to the role of President in 2024. In 2022, our chapter was honored with the Chapter of the Year award — a milestone I'm incredibly proud of and grateful for.
Proudly serving the Twin Cities and surrounding communities — with E-design available for clients everywhere.
Why I Focus on Health in the Home
The more I worked with homeowners over the years, the more I noticed something that went beyond aesthetics — the spaces people lived in were quietly affecting how they felt every single day. A cluttered room created anxiety. A dark space drained energy. A thoughtfully designed room? It changed everything.
That realization led me to wellness-focused design — an approach that goes beyond making a home look beautiful and focuses on making it feel beautiful too. I believe every person deserves a home that supports their health, their happiness, and their sense of peace. And I've made it my mission to help every client I work with experience exactly that.
